Natural skin care products

We all want to be able to maintain healthy skin, but some of you may be wondering how you can achieve this using DIY natural skin care products? Prior to taking a closer look at the principles of natural skin care products that you can utilize to promote healthy, clear and glowing skin, you need to consider a few of these facts we have outlined below:
1.     A person loses millions of dead cells every single day - approximately 30 thousand to 40 thousands dead skin cells are taken off of your body every 60 seconds. You are likely to shed almost 40 pounds of dead skin over the course of your life.

2.     Your skin makes approximately 15 percent of your whole body weight.

3.     New skin cells are constantly being generated by your body in order to replace the dead cells that you shed off. The top layers of your skin, referred to as epidermis is, in fact, fully replaced once every thirty days.

4.     There are approximately 2.5 million sweat glands present in your skin that secrete two cups of sweat, on average.
There are countless people out there who are led to believe that constant, aggressive scrubbing with a rough towel is ideal for removing toxins and waste materials from their skin. You need to understand that abrasive scrubbing is not going to promote healthy skin in any way. Most of the time, it worsens skin health and tone since it leads to severe damage of multiple structures of your skin layers. Skin is designed to purify itself from the inside out, provided that your lifestyle and diet are health-promoting. Be very gentle with your skin when washing, and pat it dry using a soft towel.
Whether you are looking to ease your wrinkles, get smooth skin, or fight adult acne, here are some chemical-free natural skin care formulas that you easily can add to your skin-care routine:

2. Blueberry Face Masks
Blueberries can do wonders for your skin. They are not only rich in fiber, but also Vitamin A and C. They are considered as miracle fruits for blemished, acne, uneven skin tone and pimples. They normalize your skin oil level to a large extend, and play a very important role in maintaining healthier, smoother skin. The high vitamin C content of blueberries helps in strengthening your blood vessels, as a result repairing spider veins and broken capillaries below skin surface. Moreover, this incredible fruit prevents skin-aging since they contain plethora of anti-oxidants.
Here are 5 blueberry based recipes you might want to try:

[Make sure that you strain yogurt through filter or cheese cloth before adding to the puree.] Spread the mixture onto your face for about 20 minutes, and wash it off using cold water. This mask is known for its properties to slough off damaged skin cells.
Nourishing Blueberry Mask

·         1/4 teaspoon of Aloe Vera
·         1/4 teaspoon of vitamin E

·         1/2 teaspoon of olive oil
·         1/4th cup of blueberries

In addition to being overly expensive, they can be highly damaging for skin cells. Don't forget to use toners after cleansing and before putting on facial masks.
